What Triggers a Notification
Writerflow sends email notifications for key events:
New review request — when you're added as a reviewer
Comment added — when someone comments on your document
Approval received — when a reviewer approves your document
Changes requested — when a reviewer requests revisions
Review reminder — when a review deadline is approaching
For Document Owners
You'll receive notifications when:
A reviewer submits their approval or requests changes
A new comment or reply is added to your document
For Reviewers
You'll receive:
The initial review request with your magic link
Reminder emails if you haven't reviewed by the deadline
Notification when the document owner uploads a new version
Managing Notifications
You can unsubscribe from non-essential notifications using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Writerflow email. Critical notifications (like new review requests) cannot be disabled.
