Overview
Rather than picking an approval workflow every time, you can set one default for your whole account. Go to Settings → Defaults and choose the approval workflow new work should use.
Pick your workflow from the dropdown and click Save. Changes are not applied until you save.
How the Default Is Chosen
When a document needs an approval workflow, Writerflow works down this order and uses the first one it finds:
The client's default — if the brief has a client and that client has a default workflow set
Your account default — the workflow set on this page
Single-stage approval — the built-in fallback when neither of the above is set
This means a per-client default always wins over the account default, so agencies can set one house standard here and override it only for the clients who need something different.
Setting No Default
Choosing None clears the account default. Documents without a client-level default then fall through to single-stage approval.
