Overview
AI Review runs a checklist over a draft and raises flags for things worth a second look — an uncited statistic, a missing disclosure, a passage that drifts off brand voice. The checklist is a first pass, not a decision: a human still approves every document.
Admins can tune which checks run, and see which ones are actually useful. Go to Settings → AI Review checklist.
Turning Checks On and Off
The checklist panel lists the built-in criteria with a toggle for each. Turn off any check that doesn't apply to your work and it stops raising flags. Typical criteria include:
Statistics are sourced — every statistic is backed by a citation a reader can verify
Claims are cited — factual claims are attributed rather than asserted bare
No unsupported claims — strong or absolute claims have supporting evidence
Required disclosures present — sponsorship, affiliate, or regulatory disclosures appear where required

Below the checklist is a calibration panel covering the last 30 days. For each criterion it shows how many flags were raised versus how many your writers dismissed.
A criterion that is raised often but dismissed almost every time is noise — it's training your team to click past flags. Writerflow marks these with a prompt to review the rule, so you can turn it off or narrow it rather than letting your writers learn to ignore the checklist.
Who Can See This
The checklist and calibration settings are admin-only, and scoped to your workspace — you only ever see your own team's data.
