What AI Review Does
AI Review reads your draft against a checklist and raises flags for things worth a second look — a statistic with no source, a missing disclosure, a passage that drifts off brand voice.
It runs before a human reviewer sees the work, so obvious problems get caught on your side rather than in a client's inbox. It is a first pass, never a decision: AI Review cannot approve anything, and a human still signs off on every document.
Running a Review
Open a document you can edit and click Run AI Review, or open the AI Review panel from the sidebar rail. While it runs, the panel lists the checks it's performing, so you can see what's being evaluated up front.
Reading the Flags
Each flag appears as a card in the panel, and the passage it refers to is highlighted in the document itself. Click a highlight and the matching card scrolls into view; click a card to jump to the passage. Nothing in your document is changed by running a review.
Acting on a Flag
Fix it yourself — jump to the passage and edit it directly
Fix with AI — available on wording and style flags, where a suggested rewrite makes sense. It isn't offered for sourcing or disclosure flags, because those need a real source or a real disclosure, not a rephrase
Dismiss — for a flag that doesn't apply. Dismissing hides it from the panel and removes its highlight
Re-running and Versions
Reopening the panel shows your last completed review rather than starting a new one. Click Run AI Review to force a fresh pass.
A review belongs to the document version it ran against. Dismissed flags stay dismissed for that version — re-running won't bring them back. Save a new version and AI Review starts fresh against the new text.
Tuning the Checklist
If a check isn't useful for your work, an admin can turn it off for the whole workspace. See the AI Review Checklist guide.
