What Flo Is
Flo is a conversation panel that sits beside your document. Instead of selecting text and picking a command, you describe the change you want in plain English — "tighten the intro", "make the third section less salesy", "add a closing paragraph about pricing" — and Flo proposes an edit to the draft.
Opening Flo
Open a document you can edit and click the Chat with Flo button near the bottom-right of the document canvas, just above the zoom control. Flo opens in the sidebar. Click the button again to close it.
Flo is only available on documents you can edit
Reviewers opening a review link never see Flo — they have no edit surface
Keeping or Undoing an Edit
Flo never changes your document on its own. Every proposed edit is shown to you first, highlighted in the document so you can see exactly what would change and where. You then choose:
Keep — apply the edit as written
Keep & tweak — adjust the wording yourself, then apply it
Undo — discard the edit and leave the draft as it was
Nothing lands in your document until you press Keep. As the panel says: Flo can make mistakes — read every edit before you Keep it.
When Flo Asks Where
If your instruction could apply to more than one place in the document, Flo asks rather than guessing. You'll see the candidate passages it found and can pick the one you meant before it proposes the edit.
Conversation History
Each document keeps its own Flo conversation. When you reopen the panel later, the edits you kept are still listed, so you can see what was changed and why.
