Overview
Every document keeps a running timeline of what happened to it — who submitted it, who reviewed it, who approved or requested changes, and when. Open a document and click Activity in the sidebar rail to see it.
This is the answer to "what actually happened here?" on a single document, without piecing it together from email.
Filtering by Stage
By default the panel shows all activity. Use the stage filter at the top to narrow it to a single approval stage — useful on a document that has been round-tripping through several rounds of review and has a long history.
Time in Stage
The panel shows how long the document has been sitting in its current stage, and how many approvals a stage has collected. When something has stalled, this tells you where and for how long.
