Brand Voices
Create reusable tone and style profiles so AI writes in each client’s voice.
What is a Brand Voice?
A brand voice captures how a client or brand should sound — its tone, vocabulary, audience, and the things it should never say. When you generate content, Writerflow uses the selected brand voice to keep drafts on-brand.
Creating a Brand Voice
Go to Settings → Brand Voices and click “New Brand Voice.” You can build it manually or let AI generate a starting point from sample content.
- Voice Identity — brand name and target audience
- Voice Definition — a voice summary, an “anti-voice” (what to avoid), and tone sliders (formal–casual, serious–funny, and more)
- Vocabulary — words to always use and words to avoid
- Advanced — example on-brand content and private internal notes
Generate from content lets AI analyze a writing sample or a website URL and suggest values for each field, which you can apply or keep as-is.
Setting a Default
Mark one brand voice as the default for a client and it’s applied automatically to new content for that client. You can always override it on an individual document.
Knowledge & Research
Each brand voice can also hold a research archive. Use “Research a topic” to gather and store reference sources for the brand, then consult them while drafting. (Availability depends on your plan and rollout.)
How Many You Can Create
The number of brand voices you can create depends on your plan — from one on entry plans up to unlimited on Agency. See Billing & Plans for the limits per plan.
